Boesendorfer Ampico grand piano

Built: 1928
Serial number: 24719
Mechanism: Ampico A
Length: 1.75 m

An absolutely rare find is the combination of a Austrian Boesendorfer grand piano together with the AMPICO system. As we know from Julian Dyer (information provided by John Farmer, London), Herbert Marshall in London had the exclusive rights to install Ampico in European Pianos. They ordered 6 Bösendorfer pianos which were shipped to London and fitted there with Ampico works, and then sold in London. This grand piano is well preserved. A real treasure. The restoration is completed- this wonderful piano now is another highlight in a private museum in Czech Republic.
